A bright but chilly day saw 13 Thomas Hardye students competing at Moreton EC for the Eventers Challenge and County Dressage Qualifiers on Sunday 25th February 2018.

The Eventers Challenge competition saw Poppy Reeve compete as an individual in 75cm class putting in a great clear round.  Ava Wickam, Jasmin Edwardson, Zoe Kibbey, Connor Pullin and Molly Hayward competed in the 85cm class with our team of Jasmin, Zoe, Connor and Molly, finishing second and qualifying for the championships to be held at the All England Show Jumping Course at Hickstead in May.

We had three teams competing in the 95cm class our riders, Rosie Russell, Izzy Whitty, Georgia Edwards, Molly Russell, Olivia Mallows, Jasmin Edwardson, Deborah Blair, Molly Hayward and Connor Pullin all putting in some great rounds, with Molly Russell, Olivia, Jasmine & Deborah finishing 6th as a team and a brilliant individual 1st place for Molly Russell in this class.

The Dressage competition is a Team & Individual County Qualifier with the championships to be held at Bury Farm on 20 April 2018.
Our Yellow Team, of Bea Parsons, Poppy Reeve, Izzy Whitty and Molly Hayward finished 2nd and qualified for Bury Farm, with Bea also picking up an individual 4th place and Molly 5th. 

The Pink team of Molly Russell, Olivia, Jasmin and Zoe finished 5th with an excellent 2nd individual placing for Jasmin. 
Some polished performances from our riders and some well-deserved placings in yet another hotly contested competition with 24 schools entered.

Our next event Inter-Schools NSEA Eventing Series Team & Individual Challenge 2018 to be held at Moreton EC.
