The Thomas Hardye School

Year 10 student in fantastic music achievement

The School was very pleased to hear that Hannah McFarlane of Year 10 received a Distinction in her DipABRSM. This is the Diploma of The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. Hannah has already been recognised for her talent on the cello and this was an amazing achievement.

She said "I am absolutely thrilled.  It was a long wait for the result but well worth it in the end!"

In addition, Hannah will be having an audition for the National Schools Symphony Orchestra in the week commencing March 13th.

Head of Trenchard, Mrs Noble said that it was " an outstanding achievement" whilst Head of Music Mr Bruton said that it was "fantastic news and Hannah was to be congratulated."
