The World University Rankings were published in September and the Thomas Hardye Singers are again linked with two of the very top universities – Oxford (1st in the world) and Imperial College London (8th in the world.)

The Thomas Hardye Singers will be singing at Worcester College Oxford next May, and on Saturday 12th November at 7.30 pm in St Mary’s Church, Edward Road, Dorchester, they will sing the ‘Requiem’ by Mozart with Imperial College Symphony Orchestra. The orchestra will also play the ever-popular ‘1812 Overture’ by Tchaikovsky.

The concert brings together musicians from The Thomas Hardye School and the three local Middle Schools, together with former students, including all four soloists: Pippa Goss, Emily James (née Otten), Jon Valender and Martin Weston.

Tickets (£10, or £2 for students) are available from the Thomas Hardye School and Nicoll World Travel (High East St, Dorchester).
