The Thomas Hardye School

Year 9 student in fantastic music achievement

At the beginning of March, Year 9 Student Hannah McFarlane had a half day’s leave of absence for an audition in North Devon for the “2016 Two Moors Young Musicians Platform Competition”. This is a most prestigious young musicians competition in the South West, attracting young musicians from the entire of the South West, including many specialist music school students.

We are delighted to say that following a subsequent round, Hannah has been selected as one of the four winners and will now perform at the winners’ concert in October (also receiving a cheque for £250).

This is a wonderful achievement and the recognition gained from winning this competition is the real reward, as you will see from their website.
