Year 10 Geographers visit volcanic Sicily

Sicily Visit

During half-term, 40 Year 10 Geographers took a tour to Sicily for 5 days to explore some of the volcanic and cultural sites around the North and West of the island. A cable car and 4x4s took us close to the very top of Mt Etna (which some of us could see from our hotel windows!) and we took a boat trip out to the islands of Panarea and Stromboli (also a volcano!). Of course we also spent a bit of time relaxing on the beach in the evening and enjoying some of the famous Italian ice cream.

Letters will be coming out soon for next year’s trip so watch this space Year 9!
