Students pave their way to the future

Pathway

Year 11 Pathways students, studying Land Based Operations at Kingston Maurward College, have finally completed an extension to a pathway alongside the new glasshouses on the campus.

Despite periods of bad weather, the students had completed the path just one week before the end of their two year course.  Having started the path extension in September 2015, the winter weather delayed the laying of the paviour blocks until the good weather returned.

A final push and good teamwork saw the path completed to a good standard.

Course Instructor Pete Coombes said “It is better than you will see in most public places”.

THS Teaching assistants Mr Oliphant and Miss Ellis who have supported the students in the completion of the path, wish the students well in the future.
