Geographers explore the coast

On Saturday 14th May 8 intrepid Geographers took on the challenge of a coasteering session at Lulworth Cove. After getting kitted up in our kit we braved the chilly waters of the cove to explore some coastal features from a very different perspective.

The session consisted of a mixture of swimming, scrambling, jumping and even “limpeting” – where you’re expected to cling to the rock without getting washed away by the waves. We explored caves, arches, blowholes beaches, fossils and much more.

All of the students had a superb time and we’re really grateful to our guides at Experience Lulworth for such a fantastic morning!
