    Attendance Manager
    Grade 8, point 22 - £21,074 with possible increments to £24,657 per annum
    (£17,452 progressing to £20,419 pro rata)
    35 hours per week (term-time only, plus inset days)

    We need someone to manage our attendance programme to ensure that student absence is carefully monitored and that timely interventions are made when necessary.  You will work closely with the pastoral team but also have direct involvement with students and parents.

    The Thomas Hardye School is part of a growing multi-academy trust, so there is plenty of potential for progression and development in the role.

    You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to establish good working relationships with a range of people, and competency working with ICT and management information systems.  Previous experience of working in a school environment would be an advantage, particularly if this involved attendance management.

    SCIENCE TECHNICIAN (XS4.5) September 2018
    Permanent, 37 hours per week, term-time only plus two weeks
    Grade 5, Point 13 – £9.01 per hour, £17391 per annum (£15478 per annum pro rata)

    A part-time Science Technician is required for the Science Department at The Thomas Hardye School.  The School is a designated Teaching School with approximately 180 teaching staff, over 2200 students including 800 students in the Sixth Form.

    Duties will include preparation and maintenance of Science experimental apparatus and resources for lessons as part of our technical team with specific reference to Chemistry up to A Level standard.

    Previous experience as a school laboratory technician would be an advantage but training will be provided on site by our technical staff.

    Kitchen Assistants (XS2.2) - two posts available
    Hours are flexible to suit between 8.00 am – 3.30 pm, 10 to 35 hours per week
    Grade 1 – 8.50 per hour

    We have an exciting opportunity for two highly-motivated, enthusiastic people to join us as Kitchen Assistants.  The school operates a dedicated Sixth Form canteen as well as a lower-school facility, where several hundred students and staff are catered for daily.

    We are looking for someone who has a passion for food, together with the ability to work as part of a team delivering a high quality service across the school.  We are proud of our innovative and creative menus with a focus on healthy eating, and would value your input on developing them still further.  The school has been working closely with The School Food Plan recommendations which you should be familiar with.
