The Thomas Hardye School is a 13-18 mixed comprehensive school with 2300 on roll including 800 in the Sixth Form. We require someone to lead on the administration of the Wessex Multi-Academy Trust, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for managing the transition of new schools into the trust along with managing the operation of local governing bodies.  You will have the oversight of policies and procedures operating across all schools and you will manage complaints and appeals, including admission appeals.

We are looking for someone with initiative and a high level of organisational and administrative skills, ideally gained in an educational setting.  You will have had experience of policy writing and you will have, at the very least, a working knowledge of school governance and management.

The Thomas Hardye School is a highly successful, comprehensive 13-18 school with a large sixth form and an excellent academic record in KS4 and KS5.

We require a well-qualified and highly motivated teacher to join our English Department.  You will be committed to outstanding standards in teaching and learning and have a passion for working with young people.  You will have excellent subject knowledge, with the ability to teach English Language and English Literature up to KS4 and English Language or Literature up to KS5.  The ability to teach Media Studies, Classical Studies, History of Art or a Social Science subject at KS5 would also be considered.

The English department is a vibrant and dynamic team offering a wide range of courses, providing all learners with an exciting range of experiences.
